Back again with the latest from KD Squad's Slack: Things We Learned. On to the learnings!

• I discovered there's a new network tool in macOS Monterey called networkQuality. It combines speed test with some additional statistics. Pretty useful.
• Stefan found out via Twitter that Ruby's to_h method takes a block. It'll let you skip the .map.to_h calls.
• I found out about Raycast. It's a macOS Launcher with tons of cool integrations and a nice UI. I've been using it daily since. I'm not quite ready to replace Alfred though.
• Lewis found Pipeable Ruby via Twitter. Now you can forget about grep / sed / awk / wc ... use pure, readable Ruby!
• Adam discovered neumorphism and learned how it compares to skeuomorphism. Apparently it's all the hype in UI design.
• Lewis shared Avo with us. It's an admin framework for Rails. Pretty good looking and extensible too. Check out the demo.
• I shared a post from the fantastic Liquid Weekly about Shopify's new Online Store 2.0 theme Dawn. We've upgraded a client's shop and we're pretty excited.
• Adam didn't learn today but remembered that ctrl+shift+v (cmd+shift+v for Mac users) pastes without formatting.
• Adam found Rails.stopEverything() while troubleshooting a UJS issue with an app.
• I got taken by this interesting UI tweet talking about font hierarchy. Let's see if you do too.
• Adam learned about the :only-child CSS selector. Pretty useful for containers with only one element.
